Harvest: We are facing a year of excellent quality, the vegetative cycle has been marked by a rainfall within the average of the area (278.75 mm), the absence of heavy frosts in the vegetative stop phase and by the high summer temperatures both diurnal as nocturnal, with repeated heat waves that subsided towards the end of the cycle. This forced a manual control of the productions and a shading of clusters to maintain the balance of the vineyard and take advantage of the soil moisture. As a result, grapes with a higher degree of acidity, balanced pH, a softer tannin and a greater fruit and complexity were obtained.

COLOR: Deep intensity garnet color.
SCENTS: On the nose, aromas of ripe black fruits such as plum and blackberry. Present the characteristic aromas of wood such as vanilla, brioche or toast.
IN MOUTH: Its aging for 12 months in American-French oak barrels in addition to contributing to the nose makes its entry into the mouth a sweet tooth, with a medium body, long and persistent mid palate on its way out. Balance between fruit and wood in the mouth, soft tannins. A complex wine that wins over time.
VINIFICATION: Fermentation in a stainless steel tank at controlled temperature of grapes from Valdefinjas vineyards. The malolactic fermentation takes place in the tank and the wine is then aged in American and French oak barrels for at least one year, a period in which it acquires the aromatic balance that characterizes it, as well as its fineness and overall expression.
