ELABORATION
Grape selection in the vineyard and carefully transported to the winery.
Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
After the malolactic fermentation, the subsequent aging process takes place in American and French oak barrels for a minimum period of 12 months. After a gentle clarification and filtering, it is bottled to finish its aging in the bottle until it reaches the market.

HARVEST
The 2017 harvest in the D.O Ribera del Duero was marked by extreme weather conditions that accompanied a good part of the cycle. The most prominent weather event was the frost from April 27 to 28, which affected unevenly depending on the orientation and altitude of the vineyards. The other relevant climatological characteristic was the drought - approx. 250 ml fell during the cycle. of rain when 450 ml is expected -. The 2017 vintage is very reminiscent of 2005; the grapes have arrived in an unbeatable state of health and of excellent quality.

CATA'S NOTES
Ruby color of deep intensity. Intense and complex on the nose, it maintains ripe black fruit, blackberries, violets, balanced with balsamic notes of the wood. In the mouth it is sweet, full-bodied, intense but soft tannins, cigar box notes, caramel, cinnamon and aromatic herbs such as thyme and rosemary. Silky and long in its final step. A balanced and complex wine with a lot of life ahead to express its full potential.
