La Espiga del Palmar is dedicated exclusively to the cultivation and commercialization of rice. It is located in a natural and privileged environment such as the Natural Park of L’Albufera in Valencia.
La Espiga del Palmar is also the brand of rice, a high quality product that helps position the good name of Valencia's rice, both in the cuisine of the Valencian Community and in the rest of the world.
ARROZ DE VALENCIA
Espiga del Palmar enjoys the quality certificate recognized and granted by the Regulatory Council of the D.O.P. “Arroz de Valencia”, when producing the rice varieties covered by this Regulatory Council, which commits it to maintain the highest possible quality and also utilizes certain conventional methods in production, such as the traditional varieties of the area and cultivation methodology
Because of their properties and quality, the rice varieties J. Sendra, Albufera and Bomba, are very interesting for professionals and also for the tastebuds of any individual.
The Rice of Valencia, is one of the three only rice with a Denomination of Origin title in Spain, along with those of the Delta del Ebro and that of Calasparra (Murcia).
