The arlanza blanquina bean, blanquina bean, blanquina fabina or blanquina faba, is a variety of colored beans little known and considered as gourmet bean. The grain of the white bean is flat, medium in size, light white in color and with a very fine skin. Once cooked, white beans have an exquisite flavor and their skin is so thin that it is invaluable, presenting total integrity in the grain that never falls apart.
Faba blanquina absorbs 100% water with respect to its volume, so it is convenient to hydrate it to achieve a perfect cooking. It is advisable to soak the white beans at least 12 hours before being cooked.
