Conservas Arlequín owes everything to his grandfather Angel Viadero who, with his entrepreneurial character, created a canned anchovy in the heart of the Cantabrian region. During those days the anchovy matured in wooden barrels, the cans were closed with tin and the fish was transported in wicker baskets.
As a result of this effort, the knowledge of fish and the quality of the elaborated product, the Arlequín brand is consolidated and over time, it expands the range of products, also specializing in anchovy fillet and northern bonito.
Conservas Arlequín is close to reaching its first centenaryanniversary and has become a reference both in the national and international market, with presence in the main fishing grounds of the world, without losing its essence of it being a family business and having a clear fundamental bases:
